story to strategy.

Over the past decade-plus, I’ve worked across print and digital media — writing and editing for titles including Men’s Health, Backpacker, Best Life and Southwest: The Magazine, then moving into digital strategy and leadership roles where I’ve driven measurable growth across traffic, revenue and audience development.

I lead content strategy for Ink, a creative team at Google focused on innovative brand storytelling. My role involves shaping and scaling editorial content for The Keyword blog and About.Google, while also driving AI adoption across our organization — identifying new use cases that help modernize how we work.

I also oversee platform health and AI/GEO readiness, ensuring our content strategy evolves alongside shifts in search and social. Through my internal newsletter, Changing Channels, I provide weekly analysis of platform updates, content performance highlights and their implications across our O&O ecosystem.

At Men’s Health, I implemented SEO best practices that nearly doubled search traffic while driving record growth across affiliate, e-commerce and licensing programs. I also oversaw the launch of Men’s Health MVP, a membership program that grew in its first year to become one of the largest in the Hearst portfolio.

At Vice Health, I helped develop and launch several of the vertical’s highest-performing video and service franchises. I also commissioned and edited a Merritt Award-winning investigation into cross-state air pollution that was later adapted into a documentary feature.
